BIO

         A well-known and respected member of Southbeat Music’s lineup of rising stars, Travis Hickok aka ‘NonStopp’ been a highly sought after DJ in the Houston nightlife community for well over a decade.  Originally from Chicago, he has been been impressing audiences with musical versatility, innovative productions, and turntable skills for nearly a decade.

 

         Nonstopp has been recognized for remix’s and dj edit’s which have been featured on widely-used platforms and record pools such as Direct Music Service, Dj City, White Folk’s Get Crunk, and This Song Slaps.

     

         Over the years, Nonstopp has been no stranger to big stages, performing at large-scale events nationwide such as: Monster Halloween Bash with SD Block Parties in San Diego, Havasu Spring Break with Juscollege Events, Night Nation Run in Chicago and jacksinville, Fl, Boothpimps DJ Showcase at SXSW, and "Mardi Gras!" Galveson. Nonstopp has shared the stage with many notable artists such as: Flux Pavillion, What So Not, Baauer, Boombox Cartel, Valentino Kahn, ETC!ETC!, RL Grime, Candyland, Clockwork, Four Color Zack. and many others.

 

         Years of hard work has led Nonstopp to many great achievements off-stage as well. He is a part-owner of SBMT, a booking/marketing agency based in Houston. He also currently serves as the Entertainment Director for Salt and Pepper Group, a hospitality conglomerate whom own over a dozen nightclubs and restaurants in the downtown Houston area. He is also the Lead Event Organizer for the annual “Mardi Gras! Galveston” an annual event which attracts over 300,000 guests over a two week span on the streets of downtown Galveston.

 

         Nonstopp stays busy performing over 200 shows a year. You can catch him at any of his on-going residencies which include Voodoo Hut, Kung Fu Saloon, Beer Market Co, Boots n Shoots, Shot Bar, Electric Feelgod, Yaga's, Float Pool & Patio, Skallywags Suds n Grub & Cabo Bar and Grill, or you can find him at special appearances at venues all around Houston.
